AYESHA YOUTH PROJECT HOSTS CHARITY BBQ FOR PALESTINE IN COLLABORATION WITH UMMAH WELFARE TRUST

Date: 23/10/23

In a heartwarming display of solidarity and compassion, the Ayesha Youth Project (AYP) joined hands with the Ummah Welfare Trust to launch a charity BBQ for Palestine. The event took place after Jumma prayer on Friday 27th October 2023, outside Darus Salaaam Mosque in Manor Park, creating a powerful moment of unity within the community.

The purpose of the charity BBQ was twofold: to bring people together in support of a vital cause and to raise funds for the Ummah Welfare Trust's initiatives in Palestine. As the enticing aroma of grilled delicacies filled the air, community members gathered to share not only a meal but also a common commitment to making a positive impact.

AYP recognises the importance of community-led efforts in contributing to global causes, and the collaboration with Ummah Welfare Trust exemplifies this commitment. The event provided an avenue for individuals to engage in meaningful conversations about the challenges faced by our Palestinian brothers and sisters while taking practical steps to offer support.

The backdrop of Darus Salaaam Mosque added a sense of community spirit to the event, emphasizing the shared values of compassion and generosity. Participants enjoyed delicious food, vibrant conversations, and the satisfaction of knowing that their contributions would make a difference in the lives of those in need.

AYP extends sincere gratitude to Ummah Welfare Trust for their collaboration and support in making this charity BBQ a reality. It is through such collective efforts that we can amplify the impact of our community's goodwill.

Stay connected with Ayesha Youth Project for updates on future charitable initiatives and community events. Together, let's continue to make a positive difference, both locally and globally, one compassionate act at a time.
