About Us

Welcome to the Ayesha Youth Project. Our charity is dedicated to the memory of Ayesha, a beautiful 8-year-old girl whose life was tragically cut short. Ayesha had a deep desire to travel the world and bring smiles to the faces of poor and vulnerable orphans. It is in her honor and with her spirit of compassion that we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.

The loss of Ayesha has been an incredibly difficult and heart-wrenching experience for her family. It is impossible to put into words the emotions they have endured over the past few years. A mother's role is to love and protect her children, but for Ayesha, the very people she trusted and loved were responsible for taking her life. The family continues to grieve this unspeakable loss while focusing on supporting Ayesha's surviving siblings.

Through the Ayesha Youth Project, we strive to honour her memory and make a difference in the lives of young people in Newham and around the world. We offer a range of services designed to empower and support them. Our initiatives include employability skills workshops, anti-knife crime workshops, drug awareness workshops, and personalized 1-2-1 mentoring support.

We believe in the power of education, skills development, and personal guidance to shape the futures of young people. Our employability skills workshops equip participants with valuable tools and knowledge to enhance their chances of securing meaningful employment. The anti-knife crime and drug awareness workshops aim to educate and raise awareness about the dangers and consequences of these issues, fostering safer communities. Additionally, our 1-2-1 mentoring support provides individualized guidance, support, and mentorship to young people, helping them navigate life's challenges and reach their full potential.

By providing these services, we aim to empower young people in Newham to make positive choices, develop essential life skills, and create a brighter future for themselves. .

We are dedicated to continuing Ayesha's legacy of compassion, love, and care for others.

Thank you for visiting our website and for joining us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of young people. Together, we can honour Ayesha's memory and bring positive change to our community
